PARK RULES

RESERVATION POLICIES

PAYMENT

All nightly and weekly reservations require a deposit of $50.-. Monthly reservations require a deposit of one month rent. Any balances are due upon arrival.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Nightly/Weekly Stays: For all stays shorter than 30 nights, no refunds are given on or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 14 days in advance will be refunded in the form that was used for the payment minus a $3.50 Cancellation fee. Deposits will be forfeited for all reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to your arrival date.

Monthly Stays: For all stays of 30 nights or longer, no refunds will be given on or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 45 days in advance will be refunded in the form that was used for payment. Deposits will be forfeited for all reservations cancelled less than 45 days prior to your arrival date.

 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-Out Time: 12 pm

Any guests that have not shown up 24 hours after their check-in time, and have not made prior arrangements with the Manager, will be considered a no-show reservation and forfeit their deposit.

 

 

GENERAL RULES

QUIET HOURS

Our quiet time is from 10 p.m. - 8 a.m. daily, but please be courteous to your fellow guests during all hours of the day. During quiet hours, there is no loud talking, loud radios, loud televisions, or other loud noises allowed. The use of generators is not permitted on the property unless there is a power outage.

PLEASE do not leave children unattended! Children needs to be always supervised by an adult!

 

RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBOR

Please be considerate of your neighbors' privacy and space. Do not walk on or pass through the site of another guest. Respect our local culture, wildlife, and other guests. Please be mindful of our local bylaws and conservation of resources. Sportsman’s Cove Resort is proud to promote an inclusive and family friendly atmosphere at our property. Offensive or intolerant language and actions will not be tolerated, included with respect to race, religion, sexual orientation, or political views, and the presence or existence of any language, actions, visuals or symbols (e.g., visuals depicting confederate flags, swastikas, racial slurs, etc.) that may be deemed to be offensive will not be permitted on property. We reserve the right to immediately terminate a booking and evict any guest, without refund, for failure to comply with these rules and/or staff's request for you to remove the display of any offensive visuals or symbols.

 

SMOKING & ALCOHOL

There is no smoking allowed in vacation or cottage rentals, restroom and shower facilities, indoor facilities, common areas, or any outdoor amenities. Smoking is allowed on your own site if it is done so in a way that will not directly or indirectly impact the experience of other guests. Alcohol is permitted by legal drinking age adults if it is done so in a way that will not directly or indirectly impact the experience of other guests. Alcohol must be consumed in a responsible manner. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

 

SITE SAFETY

Each site is provided one table. Fire pits and grills are allowed. Please do not burn or leave trash in fire pits, and please do not move fire pits or tables without permission from the staff. All fires must be contained to the pit/ring, and campfires are permitted from 8 a.m. to midnight. Never leave a fire unattended. County bans may occur and will be posted at the office. Any chemicals or toxic materials must always remain locked up, or safely removed from the access of children or animals.

Your RV must be in street legal conditions. We provide one 30- or 50-AMP service per site and one water tap. Additional extension cords from our power box to your RV or charging your EV is prohibited.

Refrigerators/Freezers outside are prohibited!
Don’t feed the wildlife!
Don’t leave food outside!

You are responsible to always keep your site clean. You are responsible to maintain the grass and the weeds around your RV if you are staying longer than 30 days.

Permanent constructions i.e., decks, carports, sheds are not permitted.

 

PETS

We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets may not disturb other guests, and must be cleaned up after by owners. Pets must always be on a leash not longer than 6 feet and restrained when not confined inside an RV, and that no pet may be left unattended outside of an RV, even on the site. There is a maximum of two pets per reservation. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to remove or restrict disruptive or aggressive pets. All pets must also be up to date on vaccines, and copies of pet vaccine records must be available upon request. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets if you have not already added them to your reservation during the booking process.

 

GARBAGE & RECYCLING

Any garbage (including cigarettes) and recycling are to be put in the designated areas, garbage bins, and recycling receptacles located on the resort map. Garbage collection outside your RV is prohibited.

No storage around or under your RV.

 

SEWER & WATER HOOKUP

All sewer hoses must be undamaged, and sewer connections must be tight.

Please shut off the water when you are leaving your RV.

It is not permitted to constantly run water to i.e., flush your black water tank.

 

WASTEWATER

The discharge of any wastewater (septic or grey water) is strictly prohibited. Formaldehyde products are not permitted.

 

PARKING & RESORT ROADS

Two vehicles, inclusive of one RV, are included with each reservation as determined by Sportsman’s Cove Resort and as space allows. Additional vehicles are $4.- per day or $30.- per month and subject to availability of parking in designated areas. All vehicles must have a parking pass from the office upon check-in. Please ensure your guest tag is always visible with your proper departure date. No parking on streets. Towing is enforced at the guest’s expense. We offer storage space for additional utility and/or boat trailer for $50.- per month.

All guests must stay within resort property boundaries. No trespassing on neighboring land is permitted.

 

SPEED LIMIT

Please obey posted speed limits on property. Failure to obey speed limits may result in removal from the property without refund.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Non-motorized skateboards, scooters, roller blades, roller skates and bicycles are permitted to be utilized if they are done so in a safe and quiet manner. Motorized items such as drones, motorbikes, hover boards and similar motorized recreational items are prohibited. UTVs, ATVs, and large terrain vehicles are prohibited.

 

BIKES

Don't forget your bike helmet. In addition to following local regulations, we recommend that all riders wear a helmet while riding a bicycle.

Bike riders must obey the same rules of the road as a motor vehicle. When operating a bike after sunset, you must have a light on both the front and back of the bike.

 

GOLF CARTS

Each guest owning a golf cart is solely responsible for ensuring that all operators of the golf cart are a minimum of 16 years of age and possess a valid driver's license (moped licenses, learning permits, etc. are not acceptable).

Golf carts must have their lights (if equipped) always turned on while in operation after sunset. No golf carts may be operated after sunset without headlights. Golf carts shall not be operated during quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.! Golf carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing or other misuse of guest-owned golf carts will not be tolerated.

Guest-owned golf carts are to be operated on blacktop or gravel roadways only.

No driving through RV sites or other restricted areas.

OPERATION OF GOLF CARTS WHILE CONSUMING OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA OR ILLICIT DRUGS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

A golf cart's maximum seating capacity must never be exceeded.

Operators and passengers of a guest-owned golf cart must be always seated while the golf cart is in motion.

 

FISHING

Fishing is permitted from your campsite if it is a waterfront site and from the deck between the docks.

You need to have a valid Fishing License.
Fishing is prohibited in all other areas!

 

FIREWORKS

The use of fireworks, including sparklers and explosives of any kind, are not permitted under any circumstances.

Anyone caught with fireworks may result in removal from the property without refund.

 

FIREARMS & WEAPONS

Guests must obey all federal, state and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms.

Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas.

The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.

 

GENERAL CONDUCT & REMOVAL

Guests are always required to comply with all rules and regulations posted at the property as well as directions of the resort team. We reserve the right to remove anyone in violation of these rules and regulations from the resort.

 

LIABILITY

We do not maintain insurance to cover your personal property or personal injury. We are not responsible to any resident, guest, or occupant for damage or loss of personal property or personal injury from (including but not limited to) fire, smoke, rain, flood, hail, ice, snow, lightning, wind, explosions, earthquake, interruption of utilities, theft, hurricane, negligence of other residents, occupants, or invited/uninvited guests or vandalism unless otherwise required by law.
